Imaginary cabinets

Mats Horbach made three heartfelt statements for the imagination. His book Imagine gives us his personal view on the importance of fantasy and imagination; every chapter begins by analyzing a subject or word, and continues with a fairytale or a new definition.
A simple-looking but effective wooden object with two small watch-holes tickles the imagination and makes people see their surroundings in a new way. In his third project, Mats let his imagination run wild with the archetypical ‘cupboard’. He made a series of tiny cupboards, showing us that any ordinary piece of furniture can be whatever we want. It’s an uplifting message, and beautifully executed at that.
